Myrtle Beach Region

About

We are a group of amateur and professional nature photographers based in the Northeast area of South Carolina and the extreme Southeast area of North Carolina. We welcome photographers at all levels of experience from beginners to professionals to become members of our group.

If not a member, join us.

Our goals are:

  • To promote nature photography in the Carolinas
  • To create an awareness and appreciation for the area’s natural beauty
  • To educate others interested in nature and wildlife photography.

Currently, we have regularly scheduled meetings every month on the fourth Thursday between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. These meetings usually include an educational presentation of interest to nature photographers. In the off month we try to schedule a group photography outing.

Refer to the Regional Events and/or Calendar pages (access through the main menu at the top of the page) for a listing of upcoming events.

The Myrtle Beach region meets at 9:30 a.m. on the 4th Thursday of every month at various locations along the Grand Strand. We break for the summer from June-August.

To stay informed of our monthly meetings, add Myrtle Beach to your CNPA email subscriptions, follow the CNPA on your Facebook page, and check out the website calendar.
