The Triad Region has planned an outing to the Tailrace Fishing Area on the Haw River below the Jordan Lake Dam. When the water is releasing (and rain is forecast before, but not during, the weekend), the birds, including eagles sometimes, are very active. Bring your longest lenses, snacks, water, and a camp chair.(About a quarter mile before the address*, split right, then past some parking spots, turn right, down to the parking lot below the dam.)The birds are waiting for you at the Tailrace Fishing Area.
