Hello anyone who might help--

I have tried lots of things to keep my 7600 printer from printing too dark. I have gone to CS3 hoping that would help. I know the images are color corrected properly because my printer worked fine before and printed beautiful images.

Now it appears that I have two levels of color management going on and I have tried everything--including reloading Bill Atkinson's newest version of the printer profiles for the Epson papers.

I always turn of the color management in the printer before printing--

I replaced ALL my inks with new cartridges and have printed a good check print pattern--

Can anyone help???

have you changed the gamma setting.....I have a tendency to think I've made a change and forget to hit apply....have you profiled your monitor

Have you calibrated your monitor? Or replaced your CRT monitor with a LCD? Dark prints for me are usually a monitor calibration problem. Since I went from a CRT to a LCD I've had many problems even though I calibrate monthly.
