Taken at Beidler Audubon Center Spring 07 - Nikon D2X with tripod mounted 200-400 Nikon zoom and 1.4 tele extender along with SB 800 flash powered back - ISO 400. Fawn probably no more then 1 day old and could barely stand. Don Wuori ie sisu.

Really nice shot . I also like all the different texture in the photo. Did you take it from the boardwalk?

This image was taken from the board walk. He/she was nested under a very big tree. Went back the next day and gone - think some folks may have seem this little one amble off. Don Wuori ie sisu

That is sooo sweet! Like Robert I want to get one. Nice a sharp and just the right amount of flash.

I watched the fawn stand up for a few minutes a couple of times. Would take a step or two and go back down. Then stood up and very slowly walked off. Never did see mom. I think I shot it every which way there was. Be careful at the swamp. Don and I had a big limb fall and miss us by about a foot or two.We were lucky.
