Paul, that's a great shot. You must have been lying down to get this perspective. Very different look, I like it.

Agree with Robert and its a great shot. Refreshing to see something different ie the view upward, that fact that the buck in velvet. Don Wuori ie sisu:)

Like the way background and foreground colors frame the animal. How close were you and what FL? Depth of field appears wide as you look toward the rump. Looks like he's about to step on you.

Bob the fl was 135mm . I think I was about twenty feet away.

I like how you can see the deer's leg is slightly raised, so this is not a completely static pose. :)
