Seeking info on Vancouver

We will be in Vancouver this October and have been researching photo ops both in Vancouver and Whistler. Has anyone been there who can give us some ideas?Thanks, Joanne and Don Wuori

You may have already found this place, but if not check out the web site. It's been a number of years since I was there, but this place was pretty spectacular, as is the northwest in general.

Joanne and Don,
the answer is EVERYWHERE! I have not been able to spend much time photographing the area. I have been there twice to ski at Whistler and once for my honeymoon.

The road from Vancouver to Whistler (about 50 miles) is one of the most beautiful highways I've ever been on. There is a wonderful park in Vancouver called Stanley Park and I would also recommend the restaurant there in the park (don't remember the name right now, but it may have the word cafe in the name).

The food in Vancouver (and Whistler) is spectacular. There is another restaurant outside of town that has spectacular views of the city. It is very popular and I'm sure you can find the name.

You will definitely enjoy your time there!
