I am at work right now and I can view the CPNA website. But at home, I cannot view it on my personal computer. Just 3 days ago i could view it, and I dont' remember changing any settings.

any idea whats up, or has anyone else experienced this?

You told me earlier you were using Firefox. Did you try IE to see if you still have the same problem?

Just trying to eliminate possibilities

Oh one more thing. You also mentioned you were getting a server time out error when trying to connect to CNPA from home.

When I tried using Firefox there was a hesitation because I did not have Flash version 7 installed or associated with my Firefox browser. Once the CNPA site came up in Firefox I was not able to see the Snow Leopard photograph on the home page. Where the photograph should have been, there was a message saying I needed Flash version 7 (I think Flash version 9 is out now).

Regardless, this made me think about your server time out error.

Are you using dial up at home (as opposed to a high speed internet connection)? The error you are getting about the 'server time out' might be a combination of not the right flash version and using dialup (slower speed). It times out because of the incorrect version of Flash.

Just a thought.

right now I am on my wives computer and it works fine. This is weird, because neither explorer or firefox will let me view cnpa.org

i am using high speed DSL internet

Thanks for the additional info. That certainly narrows it down to some kind of weirdness in your computer. One thing to keep in mind is that the error messages that the browser gives you is not always a good indication of what the REAL problem is. For example, if there are firewall issues or communication delays, they'll just report "server not responding". Well... that's because the server couldn't respond! Doesn't mean the server has a problem, just means that the browser can't figure out why it doesn't respond. The user is expected to track that down ;)

Glad to hear it decided to work on its own. But I hate unsolved mysteries!
