Upcoming is an event that anyone with an interest in photography should schedule to attend.
Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens in Belmont, NC, (just South of Gastonia near Charlotte) is hosting their second annual, "Picture Perfect" Photography weekend.
The event is over the weekend of March 12-13th, 9:00 AM thru 3:00 PM.

2pm – Shoot the Light – “Light reveals and shadow defines” by Chas Glatzer

9:30am – Biggs Camera – “Portrait Lighting”
10:30am – Nikon Professional Service – “Becoming a better digital photographer” by Bill Fortney
11:30am – Art Institute of Charlotte – “Demonstration on using a tilt-shift lens to control depth of field when shooting still life nature photographs” by Joe Ciarlante
1pm – DEK Photography - “HDR Photography” by Dave Kelly
2pm – Shoot the Light – “Photographing the Falcon Islands” by Chas Glatzer
Hope to see many CNPA members there. It is sure to be a great weekend.....Normal admission to the garden is required. Bring your camera and do some shooting as well.
