More sandhills and close-ups. In Fla last summer—three sandhills would wander around the cottages looking for handouts (the staff called them the “three panhandlers”) Barbara had just tossed him a tidbit and he was coming for more when I shot this. He was about 5’ away and that was about as close as I wanted to get to that beak. Fuji S5100

Nice shot Bob, looks like you were focusing on the beak, from the eye back it's a little OOF. Nice timing to catch him with the beak open.
