Great images were posted in response to our first "Assignment". It's never too late -- that assignment will remain open.


This is the second of our new Assignment Series. See Sticky thread for full details.

This assignment is themed "Fall Color". Whatever "Fall Color" means to you.

When you post an image, try to tell us something about it. What/where is it, how did you shoot it, tech specs, etc. We can all learn together!

Hmmmm, thought there would be something before now. OK, I'll start things off --

Taken a few weeks ago in Lancaster, NH on a stormy day.Canon XTi, Tamron 28-80 @76mm, f6.3, 1/125, ISO 200

The Blue Ridge Parkway is one of the most beautiful places during the fall leaf change! We missed the "peak" color by just a couple of days as they had gotten quite a bit of wind which unfortunately removed some of their beautiful leaves. This was taken with my Canon 40D with 18mm-200mm Sigma lens.

Are you sure that wasn't a Nikon lens? ( lol ) :) Pretty sharp, great contrast & very nice colors, & love the composition!

Taken at Lynches River County Park, tried negative clarity and I kinda like the soft effect it rendered.
