Water Roots

As our lake was affected by the drought here in North Carolina, it revealed some interesting photo subjects. I was especially drawn to this stump that had previously been submerged. The color and texture variations of the leaves, the shells, the stump and the water were crying out to be photographed.

Barmstrong, I live a few miles from Lake Wylie. The rains have helped but we do have a long way to go.
