What a dreary day..but great day for testing the claims of equipment. This is the D300 at ISO 3200 and the Nikon 200-300mm F4 VR with a Nikon 1.7x Extender. Straight crop and a tiny bit of noise reduction. and taken through window (too wet outside for me!).

Nice shot Don, like the out-of-focus highlights of that lens. Have you shot with the D200 for comparison on grain?

Amazing at 3200. Hmmm, maybe I need to switch to Nikon. :-)
