Reminder about Sunday's meeting

Hey all,

Just a quick reminder our next meeting is this Sunday, Aug. 8 at 3:30 p.m. at the Hughes Main Library.

Our speaker is Donna Eaton who will present "Faming the Flame of Creativity." Some of you will remember Donna's presentation on Africa a while back. I'm sure this presentation will be equally as good.

As usual, we'll eat dinner afterward (dutch treat). Liberty Tap and Compadres will be out as there is a Greenville Drive baseball game scheduled. Suggestions of other nearby restaurants are welcome.

And I'll have details of a weekend workshop with Don McGowan, our speaker last month, in May in Asheville. Our region will have first crack at the 10 spots. If we can't fill the workshop, it will be opened up to other regions.

Thanks again for setting up a creative and informative meeting. Donna's presentation was excellent as always. The added bonus was seeing Joe's newly created book of his mountain pictures. There is some pretty work coming out of Greenwood. It was really nice seeing Butch Reeves there from the old Pendleton District Camera Club. It's been 15 years plus since we've gotten together. Good to meet Tony , first timer to the meetings. Of course, Chase and Charlie always make the day. Never been around these guys without learning something. The sharing of a story and laugh or two over dinner afterwards is always a highlite. Cindy, thank you again for all your hard work and dilligence supporting the UPSTATE CNPA .

This was my first meeting as well and really enjoyed learning something new. Maybe next time I'll be able to join y'all for dinner so I can meet a few more folks. Would it be possible to post Donna's website/contact info?
