Night Sky

This is one of the first pictures I took on my Nikon D80 back in November of 2006. This is at Doughton Park on the Blue Ridge Parkway in NC. There is a parking lot behind the hill that was providing the backlighting.

Beautiful glow to the sky, love the way you can see the stars.

Lovely image. Parking lot provides some lighting but I'll bet otherwise not much light pollution where you took this photograph. Its amazing what you can see on a clear night away from cities ie light pollution.
