With the upcoming CNPA outing to Bosque del Apache I thought it would be appropriate to show an image I took there several years ago. Shot with film, I've wondered what could be done with the current digital equipment.

Robert I think your post of the snowy egret is sharper, at least on comp screen, than this (not that this is a slouch of a shot)--of course it may be apples to ornges re distances and shooting conditions. Have you tried a panning shot in burst mode on flying birds with the digital? Would be interested to know what sort of images that would produce.

I think you need more practice you should go back with us now that you have your digital slr:)
