I found this dragonfly early in the morning on a boardwalk. I rested my camera on the railing to steady it. Usually, I wouldn't put the head in the center of the frame, but I think it works here.
Nikon D-80, Tamron 180mm lens.
ISO 250, f/9, 1/160th of a second.

Very cool shot - and particularly well done for a braced-hand held shot! Yes, the composition works for me as well. Just enough depth of field to see a lot of detail in this predator!
