I recently came across a copy of a book published by Canon from our broadcast lens sales rep. It is titled "EF Lens Work III The Eyes of EOS". It is an excellent hardbound reference for anyone shooting Canon glass to research their entire line as well as an education on the history of the companies 35mm and digital camera optics. It is reasonably priced on the online Canon store or Amazon.com and I believe any serious Canon user would find it fascinating.
Hey, I have been a NIKON devotee for almost 45 years and I like it. I wish NIKON had a similar publication.
Check it out. I even believe it can be downloaded as a series of PDF's from the European Canon site for free. But it's a big download, 30 MB.

I just noticed the link to the European site has the eighth edition of the book for review. The latest version in print is the tenth..
