Bobcats

I shot this several years ago at the Savannah National Wildlife Refuge. We actually spent 30 minutes with a mom and three cubs. They were a good ways off so I was shooting with the 500 mm with a 1.4x TC. Never really got them out in the open, may never get another chance like this one. Here is mom with one of the cubs. Not a very good image but a very good subject.

An "in the wild" bobcat picture is special anytime! A good sharp one for what you were working with! I bet that was a special day!

I have never seen a bobcat in the wild. You are blessed to have that photo. I am very very jealous. I just want to see one before I die. I am amazed.

Thanks for the comments, you guys understand what even seeing one bobcat is like much less 4 at one time. A special moment does not explain my feelings seeing this family.

Aaahhhhh, I remember that day well. You did a good job catching what you could. I think I only came away with a picture of mom with a blade of grass in the middle of her face. Good grab! :)
