Taken with a Fuji S5100-ISO64-f6.3-1/640. Location N. end of Little Tybee, Ga. Only treatment was a straightening of the horizon—otherwise, this is what the camera, in color mode, saw. The combination of cloud cover and sun angle turned the already tan and grey monochrome into a bluish monochrome. Am fairly new at digital photography and manipulations there of, so any suggestions welcome.

Hey Bob,

Great to see you here posting. Your shot is so interesting as the conditions completely washed out all color. It may benefit from some processing in Photoshop but I'm not qualified to give advice for a shot like this. Maybe some who do B&W landscapes can jump in.

Like the shot alot with the variouls patterns, curves, lines, verticals etc. Maybe crop out some of the sky? :) sisu

If you were to apply a polarizing filter it would increase the blue in the sky and bring out the white clouds. You can also do this as a black and white image and the polarizing filter will darken the sky (instead of turning it blue) and whiten the clouds.

Shoot a Winner!!!
