Hello folks,

As a semi-new member, I joined in late November of this year; here is my first post on the image critique page. I took this picture this past October in Bonaire, NA. While there is nothing stellar about the action of the egret, I thought it was interesting because of the type of bird; it is a White-Morph Reddish Egret. I am curious how many others have seen or photographed this type egret.

In addition to this photo, I have also set up a gallery on the CNPA site with a few recent photos and I would welcome any feedback from my gallery.

Bill,

Nice 1st post of a rare bird. I haven't seen one but I hope to find one on my next trip to Florida. Your gallery has some terrific shots, thanks for sharing.

Cool shot of a bird I've seen but never photographed!

Looks like you have some neat shots in your portfolio - particularly the underwater shots!

Looking forward to seeing more.

I hope to find one on my next trip to Florida.

Good luck on seeing one. I was luckily on this trip and had the opportunity to photograph two of these birds. The other had electric/iridescent blue legs, it was very cool looking. Unfortunately in my haste to photograph that second egret, I did not check my shutter speed and that set of images is very soft.

Hi Bill, looked at your gallery and you have some great shots. Love the first one in particular and the loggerhead turtle. Keep them coming
