I happened to browse Doug Gardner's Wild Photo Adventures website for the first time in quite a while and happened to check out a couple of episodes of Season two of his TV show.
I must say I was really impressed with episode four "Photographing the Eastern Wild Turkey" --really quite informative and some impressive videography. I've never tried to photograph turkeys, but this show makes me want to try--really exciting stuff (at least to me).
Episode three on Francis Biedler Forest was also very interesting. Don Wuori did an excellent job as cohost. If you haven't already checked them out, I recommend doing so.

I'm definately a fan. Watching Doug's TV episodes online is what motivated me to join CNPA.

Way to go Don Wuori! And way to go Doug Gardner, probably the best photo tour guide in the southeast. Excellent info on Francis Beilder.

I want your autograph Don.

Here's a link directly to Doug and Don's Francis Beidler Forest video.

I must agree with Ed, Bob and Joe, Don did an excellent job of co-hosting the show on the Francis Biedler Forest. It made me want to return soon. I was glad he was able to get a mention in about CNPA.

On another note, the episode on Really Right Stuff's operation helps to rationalize why their products are priced as they are. It was fascinating to see the milling process which results in "L" brackets and ball heads from massive blocks of solid aluminum.

I'm in agreement with all, Doug's show has really matured over the past two seasons and I hope it continues for many more years. I haven't viewed them all yet and plan on buying the season 2 DVD (as I did last year with season 1).

This year Doug has several shows where he does not have a co-host, which for me can be better as he has more time to talk about what he is doing and why. The turkey show and the drought show are two good examples. I learned a lot from both of those shows.

That being said, Don W. did a great job as co-host, so congrats to him for a job well done.

I LOVE Doug's shows!! I did a search for photopraphy last year on DirectTV and came across his show. I had missed the first two, but then went to his website and found that I could watch them online, as well. It was actually from his website that I found CNPA and decided to join!!!

Well dang! I missed most of season two somehow. I came across Doug's show last winter just after I learned about CNPA. I really enjoyed season one and have several saved in my favorites for future reference. I need to check my DVR! Good to know they can be viewed online and purchased as well.

Doug recently switched over to Hi Def and hooked up with a larger broadcasting company that will be putting his show out nation wide next year through PBS. Thus far, other than the internet it has only been shown in the Carolinas.
