Hello Buster1,
And welcome to CNPA,

This looks like it may be targeted more at a wedding or event shooter as I cannot see it working with an Arca Swiss style plate or "L" bracket that I and most of my shooting buddies utilize for working from a tripod. (Appx. 85% of my images are from a tripod support) Also when hiking into a location I am not sure I want my cameras and lenses dangling from my belt off to the side. Protection in a vest or backpack seems more practical.
.
It is a novel idea, but I don't think it is for my style of shooting. I guess I like my bread sliced differently. It also looks like a lot of weight on your midsection if you are using full size bodies and pro grade 2.8 glass. A suspender system to the belt may be a good addition.

Here is what I have found to work for me.

I have Kirk or RRS "L" plates on all of my bodies and utilize the "UpStrap" which holds to my shoulder like it is velcroed on. Even on a nylon windbreaker.

I watched the video and it seems like an interesting idea, however, the first thing I thought was that it left the camera very exposed and vulnerable.

I just saw this product in use today at the Carolina Renaissance Festival. A photographer had a pair of them, one on each hip with a Think Tank belt system for additional items. It looks really functional for that type of event shooting. The suspender belt system of the Think Tank harness looks like it was relieving the majority of weight from the midsection. The quality of the components looks first rate.

Still not sure it's for my style of shooting, but if I shot events regularly I would have a similar setup.
