Come to REI Charlotte on Oct. 19th or Oct. 22nd and enter a store sweepstakes to win a DVD of Ken Burns: The National Parks - America's Best Idea.
Love your public lands? Get involved with REI! Join us for a week of education on public lands and opportunities to meet community groups and leaders who steward our local parks and recreational areas.
October 19th: Please join us at 7:00 pm for a presentation by The National Park Service (NPS) highlighting our regional National Park resources. We will also learn about the Student Conservation Association and how you (or your children) can volunteer in the National Parks nationwide.
Complimentary light refreshments will be served on Monday the 19th. So please let us know you are coming so we have a good headcount.

The first local play area is coming soon to Reedy Creek Nature Preserve so come find out about the planning behind it, get a sneak peek of the design, and learn about opportunities to get involved.
