Recent heavy rains have forced the closure of a section of the Blue Ridge Parkway.
The area closed is between Asheville and Mount Pisgah, from the French Broad River to the Pisgah Campground Country Store.
There was a landslide on the slope in this area in 2002 and it has been closely monitored since being repaired.
That part of the Blue Ridge Parkway is closed until further notice.
I am not sure of the mile marker positions.
