Saturday, October 17 Outing to Lewis Ocean Bay
Lewis Ocean Bay (LOB) is now open to the public after the fire, removal of damaged trees, clean up and road repairs. The roads are open but rough and some large stones. Many trees are gone. There are many flowers and flowering shrubs. Picture plants are near the end of there season, I did not check on venus fly traps or sundews. It is the nature in LOB that 15 days from now on the 17th all can change
The plan is for Evert Baird to lead this outing. There will be two meeting places, K Mart parking lot along 17 bypass at the north entrance to Inlet Square Mall leaving at 8:00 and the Food Lion parking lot on 544 at Singleton Ridge Road leaving at 8:30. Look for the Red GMC Yukon. It will be good if we have drivers that have a high road clearance vehicle and can take others to LOB from the meeting points.

Maximum of 13 people attending. Will start at 3:00 p.m. and end with sunset picture over the Winyah Bay. Cost $20.Contact Jim at 843-244-0767 or email jellis5432@yahoo.com to reserve your place.
