Hello All,
Most of us end our post with our name, however there are some who just sign with their screen name. As we all do not know who is who via screen name I am suggesting that on your posts you end it with your actual name. This may help in contacting each other as I don't believe we can search for members by screen name.
Thanks,
Edgar Payne

Good idea Edgar. Here is an easy way to do that automatically on all posts:
From the main forum page, click on "User CP" from the menu bar just under "CNPA Forums"
Under "Control Panel" click on "Edit Signature"
In the "Edit Signature" text box, type your name and whatever additional information you want your signature to contain. You can select from different fonts and font sizes and colors.
If you want to get really fancy you can make your signature a hyperlink to a website, blog or your personal gallery on the CNPA website (which reminds me, it's time to update mine!). To do that, highlight the text and click the "Insert Link" button, the one that looks like a globe with a chain link. Type the URL into the box that appears and click OK.
Preview your signature by pressing the "Preview Signature" button, and if it's OK click on "Save Signature."
That's it!

Thank you both! This is great information and will definitely help us when communicating with each other. :)DJGD

Based on a few recent thread comments I thought it might be good to resurrect this thread. We have a lot of members now, many of them new, and not everyone knows who (for example) "NCCanonShootr" is. It's real easy to set your profile so you automatically sign each post with your name. See my earlier instructions and let me know if you have any questions.

Filling in the "location" info would be nice too. I hate it when someone says something like "we had hummingbirds here today" and you have no idea where "here" is.
