I am not seeing your photo. Possibly I am doing something wrong, but I can see other photos in the forum. Perhaps you forgot to attach it or made it to big and the forum program did not accept it.

We're checking to see what Eleanor's problem was posting her image. Hopefully we can figure it out and get this image up.

Neat shot. I like the rocks/trunks/& different colored leaves. The bright blue tree-marking paint doesn't do anything for me. The people at the far end of the trail (at least in the configuration they are in) don't do much for me either. The paint & people are only a minor distraction to me... I think a different configuration of people would be better?
Looks like a fun place to go!
The 'hand of man' is visible in this one - people! This image wouldn't entice me to get on this trail - walking around 'in the mountains' part of the view blocked by the backs of the people in front, whilst I climb a steep and rocky path feeling as though I am in a queue sends me in another direction.
Technically, you might watch the 'wash out' factor in the foreground path and the far distance sky. I would guess that your eyes saw more color saturation than is in this image.
This is the sort of image that is used in 'advertising' - that is, the people in the picture would be the hikers, and they would supposedly be alone on the trail.
I make this comment because I did experience congestion on the NC trails. They are steep and rocky, with washouts and one needs the agility of gazelle and the strength of a competitive athlete to spend a day 'out there' in the mountains and come back without strain or injury.

Nice capture of the colored walkway. Looks very crunchy.
