Hello Everyone! The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is putting together a collection of true funny stories about bears and tourists encountering each other in the Smokies. The stories are by rangers, bear biologists, and wildlife photographers and are very family friendly.
How can you help? I know there are quite a few of you out there that have bear stories from the Smokies. Please email them to Carolyn Jourdan at Carolyn@GSMAssoc.org as soon as possible. Sorry for the short notice but I was just made aware of this on Facebook. Hope to see some of your funny stories out there when the collection is finalized! :)DJGD
