Wonderful day on Safari today at the Pilanesberg National Park. Liked this image but bit concerned about a degree of "busyness"

I think the creature is just beautiful. Lots of detail in the photo to boot. The only thing that makes it a bit 'busy' as you say is the other animal in the background. I would love to be there with you. It must be great!

Hey Don! A beautiful image and I don't think it's too busy at all! A natural environment is always nice.:) I'm soooo jealous you are there! I can't wait to hear all about your trip!

Don,
Nice shot, I see your issue with the "busy" background. You have great detail in the subject [wish I knew what this is] and wonderful light. If we had it our way there would be a large number of us over there with you. Have a great time and post some more images if you get a chance.

Thanks for posting the image. Very different. A stately animal for sure. Nice to see some great mammal shots.

I like the image as posted, but wish the OOF antelope had moved over a bit. Hope you get some great shots while you are over & down there!

The OOF animal in the BG bothers me a bit, but the exposure, light, and detail on the subject is wonderful! I look forward to seeing more of your Africa shots. :D

Very nice impala Don. The crisp focus of the male in the foreground grabs my attention making it easy to ignore the OOF female in the back.
