Gulf Shores Willet

This was taken three weeks ago in Gulf Shores at 7:30AM. I had just bought a Skimmer Tripod from Nature Scapes and tried it out. I used a 100-400 and laid flat slowly moving toward the Willet. Its cropped a little with normal optimizing. The blue is the ocean and pink is the morning sun reflecting off the sand which makes for a nice background. I like the skimmer but its easier to get down than get back up.

Great shot - but I too would rather see the action sequence of you getting up...:) (Sorry, couldn't resist). I'd say you got that one just right.

Fantastic shot! How wet did you have to get to capture this one? I can picture you and Artie side by side pushing (not crawling) thru the mud! Now that would also be an interesting picture!
