Sandhill Crane

Taken last week in Bosque. Taken with a Mark II N at 5.6, 700mm,ISO 400. 1/40 sec on a tripod. No cropping - its tight enough. I love Bosque.

Doug, the fact that you framed the subject like you did is an achievement in itself. I have the habit (bad habit) of framing many of my subjects by cropping in Photoshop. Good job on the nice positioning of your target within the frame. I wish I was more successful at doing what you did. The blurred background is nice too.
