Pintail Landing

Taken on the recent cnpa trip to the Bosque del Apache Wildlife Refuge in the mid afternoon. Pintails feeding/swimming about when they suddenly got up and flew about 30 yards and landed again. Taken with Nikon D2x and 200-400 zoom with a 1.4 tele extender - no flash. Lots of splashing when they took off - has some water droplets on head.

Neat shot of the Pintail, the dragging tail puts it over the top for me. Nice job and as Bob said putting in the effort pays off [OK maybe he said it different]. Thanks for sharing.
