9 a.m. – Lots of fun, camaraderie, and photographing – We’ll meet at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden
Hours:
Monday – Sunday – 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day
Pricing:
Adults - $10.00, Seniors (60+) - $9.00, Children (4-12) - $5.00, Garden Members and Children under 4 years old – Free
Directions from Charlotte, Southbound on I-85 (others available on their website):
Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden is located just west of Charlotte at the NC/SC state line, outside the town of Belmont. The Garden is easily accessible from Interstates 85 and 77.
Take I-85 South to Exit 26 (Belmont-Belmont Abbey). Turn right onto Highway 7 (Main Street). Travel 5 miles through Belmont. Turn left onto NC Highway 279 (South New Hope Road). The Garden will be 3 miles on your right.
Special Note:
The Garden is again having their annual Shutterbug Photography Contest. The contest rules are located on their website and all entries must be submitted no later than December 31, 2007.
