Hey everyone!
Our April outing will be on April 11, 2009 at Carova for sunrise. Photography subjects include sunrise, dunes, beach scenes, birds and horses.
We will meet at 5:30am at the parking lot at the Corolla Light Town Center. It is across from the Heritage Park and the Currituck Lighthouse. There is a parking lot in front next to the road where we all will meet.
Jared Lloyd will be leading this outing, and he has been in touch with a guy who has a 6 pack captain's license and who is willing to take us out in his skiff to look for horses in the marsh. We are exploring this possibility of utilizing the skiff on our outing. If it works out, there would be a limited number of people who would be able to be in the skiff. There will be no room for tripods, therefore, be prepared to handhold your cameras if and/or when you are on the skiff.
We need the following information from members participating in the outing:
· Do you plan to participate in this outing to Carova?
· Do you have a 4WD vehicle?
· If you have a 4WD, will you have room for extra passengers and, if so, how many?
· Are you interested in going on the skiff?
· Do you prefer an all-day outing or just the morning?
