Fall Color

Heading for the mountains looking for Fall Color on Thursday morning, the 25th. Jeff, Toby, and I will start by heading to the far corner of the state probably down hwy 64 to Murphy area, and 74 back to parkway, etc., with all lefts and rights that suits our fancy. Stopping when we are ready and hope to find lodging. If you are interested in tagging along, email or call Jeff Averill or Harold Brown. "Seat of the Pants Tours" at your service.....

I am looking forward to the Thursday Friday fall color outing. This past Sunday, Ann and I were up on the Parkway around Grandfather Mtn and the leaves were at their peak in the 3000 to 5000 feet levels. On Saturday AM I plan on being in Statesville for the Balloon Festival at the airport there. Should be very colorful as well. Hope to see other CNPA members there as well.
