You are correct. I shot almost 90% Infrared on the OBX trip with a 5D converted by another company called LDP out of NJ. I fine the images VERY pleasing and am curious to see how they sell compaired to my color and B&W stuff in the future.
This one is of the Live Oaks on the main walkway into Brookgreen Gardens. I have learned several tricks on getting better images with this body and am always looking at my subject matter "in a different light" now as I walk around. This has breathed new life into a camera body that I just hated, now I cannot put it down!
The Trees in the forground are in DEEP shade and the exposure was done to create a sence of deep contrast with the white leaves against the dark sky. The effect was created by the addition of a filter to the camera lens.
Canon 5D Infrared only body
Canon 16-40 L series 2
f/11, 1/100s hand held.
BTW, my email is down till next week but you can see many more of my infrared work at: www.MarkHilliardAtelier.com
