Helped this guy (along with 5 more) cross the road at Cape Hatteras. Is it me or does he look grateful? Used a Canon G2 with swivel monitor at ground level.

Hey Jim,

Great shot. To me he looks like he is thinking, "being carried beats the heck out of walking".

Love the low perspective, you got down to his eye level and that gives this an entirely different look.

Nice shot Jim! I was there two weeks ago and although I didn't find any crossing the road, I saw plenty in the pond there. I took a few shots of them, but I never got to get on eye level with them. That perspective really makes this shot.
I saw a few deer, some snakes, and a few huge otters there. I tried my best to get a decent shot of one of the otters, but it got too dark too quick for my long lens. Good job!

Just as Mark said about the polorizer, it would be interesting to see this shot without the strong snout reflection. Good photography!
