Here is an update if anyone is interested. There are loads of butterflies at Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens right now. The most common are Eastern Tiger Swallowtails, but there also some Buckeyes, Black Swallowtails, and a few others. If you want to travel a few hours, see my post in the Asheville forum. I got some nice shots of Monarchs along the Cherokee Scenic Highway near Cleveland, SC last week.
