Inspired by the CNPA, a group of us here in Georgia have been working to launch an offshoot of the CNPA. Thanks to the help of Dough Holstein and others at CNPA, we've done it.

GREAT NEWS

On January 27, 2009 at 7:00pm,
the GNPA
The Georgia Nature Photographers Association
will kick off.
www.gnpa.org (http://www.gnpa.org)

The lauch meeting will be held at the Chattahoochee Nature Center in Roswell, GA. The Center is a primary sponsor of the club that focuses on education and preservation of the wild. Their web site is www.chattnaturecenter.com (http://www.chattnaturecenter.com/) where you can find directions.

We have a terrific keynote speaker in Chas Glatzer of Shoot the Light www.shootthelight.com (http://www.shootthelight.com) so please feel free to come over and join us!

We plan to work closely with the CNPA to develop a huge community of outdoor photographers here in the Southeast so we all have more friends, places to go and trips to enjoy.

If you know people in Georgia that would be interested in joining a 100% nature-focused photography club, please let them know about the GNPA.
For More Information
Complete information is located at our web site at
www.gnpa.org (http://www.gnpa.org).

Best regards to all my friends at CNPA

I did the same on Naturescapes. Good luck with your group and let me know if I can help some more. Chas is very well know over there, he might get some folks out for you.

Hi Chris, and good luck with this endeavor. Perhaps this would be of interest to Audubon members. Will check with Audubon SC re who to contact in Georgia for possible inclusion in their ? newsletter.
