I was waiting for the hummingbird to come back- trying to stop their wings- that is why ISO was so high- did not expect this to show up!!

Wow, another of these beauties. I've never seen one much less had an opportunity to photograph one. Very nice job Kim, I love it.

I do like this shot. The action is stopped very well and I like the colors. I, for one, do not worry about the ISO. I think you should use whatever is required to achieve the shutter speed and aperture settings you think would be best for the shot.
