Networking, Friendships, sharing goals and dreams

Hello All :)

I was introduced to this group just this year.

I have lived in the Charlotte area for the last 7 years. I moved here in a job transfer from KY with Philip Morris. I am interested in networking with other people that shares my love and passion for photography for networking and for making new friends to hang out with.

I am set up to for wedding and portrait photography on location as well as nature and landscape photography. I have studied the work of the late Monte Zucker and Charles J Lewis of Grand Rapids, MI. I am looking to start a low volume business within the next 2 or 3 years. I realize that more can be accomplished by working together with others with shared goals and dreams.

I am mostly interested in sharing thoughts and ideas with other ambitious, like minded people. I am very excited about all the possibilities that the digital age has made available to us. I am researching options and considering at some point finding an apprentice to help me in exchange for knowledge. I am open to working with others in joint ventures.

I have some of my work posted on this forum as well on myspace and NAPP. Anybody interested in building a new friendship and exploring other options with me feel free to contact me. I look forward to meeting you and getting to know you. I am looking to surround myself with like minded individuals. Anybody looking for the same things?

The Charlotte Region of CNPA meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at Dowd YMCA seventh floor conference room. Join us if you can this wednesday at 7pm when we will share "Favorite Locations" with each other.

Start your own photo networking group on www.meetup.com in your area. They let you start any kind of group you want for $12 a month, and you can ask for small dues to cover that. It is a great site with calendar page for meetings. The public can view your site and sign up for free. You can put a few photos on site in photos catagory in menu. With working at night being a challenge you can decide when your group meets and where. Create your own photo community.
