Great capture down to the catchlight in the eye! Were you on a bridge and shooting down?

Image taken from the Wildlife Drive Road at the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge in Titusville Florida, a part of the Kennedy Space Center so this area is close for afew days before shuttle flights. Its a beautiful place with marshes, beautiful cover and lots of different birds etc. never know what your going to see in the marshes/ ponds. Its worth a visit.

Very nice, you caught the wings in a perfect position. Agree about Merritt Island, can't wait to go back.

Very nicely done. :) The water as a background really sets off the pink of the bird.
