OK- I have been having a problem with what I call a bionic eye. When I use flash, whether it is the body flash or the SB800, I get a BIG blue spot in the eye instead of the catchlight. Any suggestions? Or have I blinded all the hummingbirds in my backyard? Thanks, Kim

Kim, this is similar to "red eye" when using flash to photograph humans. The only solution I know would be to use the flash off camera at a sufficient angle to prevent this. I take many photos of hummingbirds using multiple remote flash units and do not get this effect, but when I shoot with the flash on the camera, I get the same effect that you describe. And it is worse when using a Better
Beamer.

Good luck.
