I'm looking for a Mobile Photography Case.

I would like the case to be like the Contico Mobile Work Box from Northern Tool & Equipment but much better quality, and a bit bigger would be nice. I want a top loader, which has big enough wheels that I can pull the box on grass, dirt, etc.

The perfect box would have

1. Top loader
2. Telescoping handle like the Contico Mobile Work Box
3. Wheels in the 4 – 6 inch diameter
4. Size around 20 X 20 X 20, give or take

If you know of such a box, or have any ideas on this subject, please call me at 828-687-8359

Thank you,

Doug

Hi Doug

For years we traveled doing underwater photography (lots of gear) and packed our gear in a cooler with wheels. It was real beat up and never disappeared from the airport or anywhere.

I don't know if you can find the size you are looking for but with pinch and pull foam you can make a place for everything and the wheels make it easy to move along.

Hope this helps.:)

Good luck

Lynn

Hi Lynn,

That is a GREAT idea. I'll look into that option.

Thank you,

Just one word of caution. As a professional underwater photographer I do a lot of air travel with large amounts of equipment. I have seen that some airlines (especially on Central America routes) accept coolers only as some kind of second-class baggage or freight, with no guarantee it will arrive on the same flight.

I use Pelican cases. Expensive but bulletproof.
