Questions on shooting at Congaree

Hope to go to Congaree in the next few days, I have never been to this location.

I have looked up several websites on it but knowing that a lot of CNPA members go there thought I'd ask about it here.

Any suggestions or advice on shooting there? Any particaular trails or locations better than others? I prefer to shoot wildlife but won't pass up good lanscapes or macro.

Hi Mike,

I have found Congaree a very difficult place to get a good photo opportunity. With as dry as it's been chances are you can go off the boardwalk and get some better chances. It's easy to get lost so don't get too far off the trail and make sure you wear long pants with a liberal dose of DEET.

I like Beidler much better, you can't go wrong there.

Thanks Robert...been to Beidler a couple times this season and will go again but was just thinking of trying somewhere new also.
