Triangle to Sylvan Heights Bird Park

Visit the world’s largest waterfowl park, featuring over 2,500 birds from around the world in large walk-through aviaries. Meet endangered waterfowl, flamingos, parrots, cranes, toucans, and more. Get an up-close experience with parakeets in the interactive Landing Zone aviary. The 18-acre facility features spacious, walk- through aviaries displaying birds from South America, North America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia.
What’s new: On October 9th, Sylvan Heights officially will open their largest new aviary featuring flocks of colorful birds from tropical regions of southeast Asia, Indonesia, Australia, and Papua New Guinea.
PLEASE NOTE: Many GPS systems DO NOT provide accurate directions to Sylvan Heights Bird Park. Please use the directions provided by Google Maps.

Conveniently located inside Sylvan Heights Bird Park, Duck Landing Cafe is now serving up a variety of sandwiches, hot dogs, ice cream & fun foods.
Hours 10:30 A.M. – 4:00 P.M. There are several other restaurants on Main St. Scotland Neck or bring a picnic lunch.
