The PSA Interclub Image Competition is coming up again. This competition is held three (3) times each competition year, beginning in the fall. Deadlines for competition entry are November 15, February 15, and April 15. Any club that is a PSA member may choose to compete as a club, with awards going to individuals, and to the top three clubs with the highest accumulated points for the year. We, CNPA (all regions), are entering 2 of the PSA Divisional Interclub Competitions, the Nature Division Interclub and the PID Color Open Interclub competition.
Don Brown will be running the image selection process for the CNPA entries. As a group we will select 6 images in nature and 6 in open. Only one image from any individual will be allowed in each category. To keep it simple we will only be doing the selections via a zoom meeting. Last year we ended in the top 1/3 of clubs in our group. We would have ended higher but we had a few nature images disallowed as they included the hand of man. We know better now.
Detailed guidelines for images are attached, but at a high level:
· The PSA Nature requirements are similar to CNPA, just more restrictive. If you’re asking can I do (item adding, removal, cloning …) the answer is no. Slight cropping and basic image adjustments are allowed. And no hand of man.
· The PSA PID Color Open requirements are the opposite. It’s open and you are allowed to do image corrections and enhancements as you desire.
