Creating Art: Flat Out Fun With Your Camera

This highly hands-on session will feature creative and artful flat-lay photography! Flat lays are styled photography compositions shot from top- down to create beautiful pieces that can be used for wall hangings, gift cards, marketing, fabrics and more! We will teach you compositional techniques, exposure techniques, and incorporate nature, woodsy, vintage, floral, and other themes to bring the outdoors in and transform everyday objects into beautiful works of art!

You can use ANY camera (even your smartphone) to create these beautiful pieces! Bring your camera, a 24-70mm lens (or similar), a tripod and an open mind to the possibilities ahead! If you prefer, you may bring any collection of items you wish— such as tools, vintage items like sewing or knitting-related items, kitchen items, or other vintage-themed objects with a variety of sizes. We will also be providing themed objects for your use and backdrop boards.
